BIBLE VERSE: “The LORD is the strength of my life…” —Psalm 27:1
BIBLE THOUGHT: Where do you draw your strength from? Where does your confidence come from? For those who do not know Christ, their strength, or “peace of mind” is found in booze, drugs, entertainment, hobbies, and for some their work. For those who do know Christ as their Saviour, their strength comes from Him! The One who made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). Strength is drawn from His Word, in fact the very “joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10). But the one thing that is common between those who do not know Christ as their Saviour and for those who do, is that our lives, our actions, always reflects that strength. For example, those whose strength comes from a bottle….it shows. For those who make the statement “I am Born Again”…it shows.
