BIBLE THOUGHT: Just because it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck DOES NOT MEAN IT’S A DUCK. We are told to ” Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” –Matthew 7:15. In today’s world, everyone is a Christian. Everyone has the right advice or answer to give. I’m here to tell you, that not everyone is a Christian, not everyone has good advice. Weigh everything you see and hear by the Word of God. I’m not saying not to trust anyone….that comes after you get to know someone. But even then, all must be weighed by the Word of God. Interesting thing is, we are very cautious when we see those “as seen on TV” ads. We should be just as skeptical when it comes to things of a spiritual matter. ” Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” –1 John 4:1
DAILY THOUGHT: Proceed with caution….just because one caries the Bible, does not mean they believe in the Bible
